The cable car ride that travels from the seafront in Funchal up to Monte offers panoramic views of Madeira's capital city. As you can see from the picture, the view is spectacular and, as the journey takes approximately 15 minutes, you will have plenty of time to take photographs. The facility is open daily from 10:00am to 6:00pm and you can purchase a one-way or return ticket.
