Funchal airport

Funchal Airport, also known as Santa Catarina Airport, is located 22km from the centre of Madeira's capital city and the journey takes about 25 minutes via the Rápida highway. An aerobus shuttle service runs between the airport and Funchal every two hours or so, and local buses are also available. An Information desk, ATMs, wireless Internet access and eating facilities are also provided.
