Plateau roadway on the Paul da Serra

The Paúl da Serra plateau has flat roadways that offer travel and views that are unlike those anywhere else on the island. The plateau is approximately 20sq/km in area and lies in the region of 1,500 to 1,600 metres above sea level. The much-visited Campo Grande lies to the south and to the north is the Pico Ruivo do Paul which rises to 1,640 metres above sea level.
