Trout farm at Ribeiro Frio

Ribeiro Frio lies in central Madeira and is some 880 metres in altitude. There is a trout farm that comprises of a number of deep pools which are feed by the chilled water from Ribeiro Frio which means "cold river" in English. There is a restaurant and bus stop at Ribeiro Frio which lies at the intersection of a number of levada walks.
